Can The JMB DVD 3000 play VCD and CDr`s & is it a Samsung

The heading says it all, if this is a newbie question whoops sorry. Do I have to enable an option. Is the type of CDr a problem. Have both Nero and WinOnCD 3.5 have tryed burning discs Silver cdrs but player says "no disc" Please help. Also is the machine a rebadged Samsung 709?

Its an Orion/Grundig 220/Matsui whatnot. sorry don`t know about your cdr problem. perhaps try hack forum?
