Problems Playing my CDR`s on my DVD

Can anyone please help.

I`ve created some disks of home movies to include both audio & video.
The CD`s play perfect on my PC, but won`t play on my DVD.

My DVD player is a LG DVD5083.

Anyone got any suggestions please ???

What format have you burnt to CDR. If it is VCD or SVCD you have to apply a hack according to www.dvdrhelp.com
