Page 1 of Anyone got a SONY DVP-NS400 ?

Hello there,

I`ve been after a review of this DVD player now for what seems like forever. Could someone please tell me if this DVD player is any good ? I know that it has a Dolby Digital decoder. Do you have to have a surround sound set up in order to exploit this feature ? Also does this DVD player convert to Region 1 ? I`m a total novice when it comes to DVD hardware, i would really appreciate someone elses knowledge on this DVD player. Thankyou

I bought this player about a week ago. Didn`t have much time to explore its features yet but SO FAR SO GOOD. The Techtronics version with mod is Multi Region so it will play Region 1 disc. Make sure your TV can playback NTSC though, otherwise you only get black and white image.
