logix 3000 lip sync problem

i have the above problem with vcds and region 0 dvds, all others work fine but this is pritty much unwatchable. I have the latest lg firmware. Can anyone help,l before i give up and buy a new player

hi Steph
i have a Logix dvd 3000 as well, i think the best source of this info for this and any problem with this player is to visit the Scan 2000 users group as mentioned elseware in this forum as the machines are very, very simular. so simular in fact i have upgraded my machine using their firmware!! (from version 2.07 supplied by lg to scan version 2.33ScnVF which disables "MACROVISION" in addition to some other video and audio inprovments.
