How can I connect Sky box to PC Monitor (cheap adaptor/cable?)

Title says it all want to get PC TFT Monitor say 19" and connect it to Sky TV box, so I can use the monitor as a flat screen TV in the Kitchen, also using my Audio/Video sender that I already have if necessary or will this video sender do the job with an adaptor????

I wanted to do something similar, then discovered it`s quite a specialised piece of kit called an upconverter. Keene Electronics have one for £80 here Click on "Scan Converters (PC-TV)" and it`s the AVT3300 at the top of the page. It`s about the cheapest option going.

hi Close,

I answered this one, plus your other one in your posting `cheap tv tuner`

And yes, your sender/receiver will work (and you shouldn`t need any extra adaptor either)

What do I need to look for, re connections on the back of the TFT to enable the digisender to be connected to the TFT?

I know that these senders have scart/phono leads, etc. but I didn`t know you could just connect it straight in and transmit, say Sky or DVD into the TFT without any special adaptor, or am I missing something????

Please can you explain in my "simple" terms how to connect digi sender direct into a TFT please.

Thanks.

This would also do the job
www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=92935

If you were using a wireless transmitter the receiver would need to be plugged into this unit and then into the monitor, this one also seems to make an attemp at upconverting the image to make use of the resolution of the monitor.
