Could anybody give me the serial number or part number from their remote control so that I can try and get another one.

Also, does anybody know of any places where I could buy one.

It`s a "RC-AVLO4" and I would imagine if you contact AIWA direct they may be able to help. Try their website.

But seriously, the evil Currys have a supplier of spares such as remotes, I think it`s called Partsmaster - they have catalogues in the stores. I`m sure they aren`t the cheapest, but they may be your salvation....
