yep its the same as the 1000
1. Press the Open button on your DVD player to open the drive lid 2. Press the Stop button on your remote control 3. Press the 2 button on your remote control 4. Press the 3 button on your remote control 5. Press the 7 button on your remote control 6. Press the 9 button on your remote control 7. You should now be able to change the region using the Up and Down buttons on your remote control to 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or 0 for multi-region playback 8. Close the drive lid on your DVD player 9. Press the Standby button on your DVD player

This DOES NOT WORK!!! We either have a rogue poster or the firmware/manufacturer has been changed (which I doubt!)
