Positioning of Left and Right speakers...
Not sure if this is the right forum for this question...
I`ve got a separates system in my study and have put my speakers so the left one on the left as you look at the wall it is on and the right one is on the right... So far so good.
I`m getting such a good sound off my CDs through my amp I thought I`d route my PC through the amp too and get rid of my PC speakers... Still with me?
The thing is my computer desk is on one side of the room and my speakers are behind me while I`m at my PC - what`s happened now is that while sitting at the PC the "left" speaker is over and behind my right shoulder and visa versa...
So my question is...does this really matter? :D
Cheers.

Is this for music or PC sound?
I guess if you can live with it and you can`t really change the room round and you`re still getting good separation and a good stereo image from the speakers it should be ok.
I want to stream music from my PC upstairs to my Naim system so I`m looking at one of these:

They come in wired and wireless versions - What HiFi gave it 5 stars. Pretty expensive but they do contain a pretty good DAC.

Why not reverse the L and R connections at the line in at the hifi from the pc?

You`ve got to be joking.................. you didn`t think of that? :o
Thought you wanted it one way from hifi but the opposite from PC.

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

Hehehe - wood for the trees? Admitted - it would screw up listening to CDs via the hi-fi but given that the computer chair is the only one in the room...
