Hardware Forum
I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A LECSON 900 AND TRIED TO USE THE A PHONO LEAD FROM THE VIDEO 1 OR THE VIDEO 2 OUTPUT TO THE VIDEO INPUT OF MY TV. THE QUALITY OF THE PICTURE WAS VERY VERY POOR. I TRIED WITH A LEAD THAT CONVERTS A SCART PLUG TO PHONO PLUGS AND THAT WORKS FIND.
CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE ADVISE WHY I GET SUCH POOR QUALITY PICTURES FROM THE VIDEO 1 OR VIDEO 2 OUTPUT.
I HAVE HACKED MY DVD FOR MULTI-REGION AS I MAINLY WATCH REGION 1 DVD`s. IS THERE ANY ADVANTAGE TO HACKING IT TO REGION 1 ONLY.
RE: VIDEO OUTPUT ON LECSON 900
I only connect mine via SCART, so I can`t help much on the picture issue. As regards multi-region verus region 1 only, I haven`t noticed any difference. I`ve left mine on multi-region and have had no problems. The only other issue to watch out for is if your TV supports NTSC properly. Do you get poor picture quality for both R1 and R2 DVD`s ?
BTW. there is no need to shout ;-)
RE: VIDEO OUTPUT ON LECSON 900
Thanks for the reply. I do not have any R2 DVD`s yet so I cannot try this.My TV does supports NTSC.
Thanks
