want one thats not hd ready not in to it at all think its alla waste of my money-so want a nice lcd to keep showing my sky diggy off--but think they must have been thrown of the edge of a cliff as none to be found unless some one out there can help--32 -37 in wanted

Argos still have them in their catalogue, and Woolworths have some, which means Comet probably do.

Well if you mainly want it to watch "standard" Sky digital, I think you`d be better going for a 37" Plasma Screen (...contrary to popular belief, Plasma is still king :) ). There are quite a few really good non-HD models available - most at great prices too...

I was going to get a non-HD LCD to save money. The viewing distance will be about 9 or 10 feet away so I was thinking of getting a 32". I have had a look at some non-HD 32" sets at around the £500 mark and didn`t really find anything that I liked that much (bearing in mind I am only interested in high street type retailers).

However, my girlfriend and me both really like the Samsung R7 series. I have read lots of good things about Samsung LCDs so I am thinking of splashing out on one of these.
