Page 1 of Schneider DVD 855 - Your thoughts on it & this upgrade by Cd thing

I am interested in the Schneider DVD 855 , and wondered what you all thought of it?
Also it says on the box "Upgrade by CD" is this taliking about the firmware ? and has anyone done it ?

i`ve only had the machine a week or so and occasionally the surround sound speakers and centre speakers stop working. Is this the same sort of problem as the lip synk and will it be improved by by the "CD Upgrade"
Any idea hoew you get the upgrade. has anyone got a schrieber adress or telephone number?
or do i just need a new machine??

i HAVE ONE AND AM NOT IMPRESSED...LIPSYNCH ON VCDS IS POOR AND MP3 FILES ARE PLAYED BACK IN A RANDOM ORDER...VERY CONFUSING....MINE`S GOING BACK TOMORROW...

Any problems/questions/contact info for Schneiders go to http://www.schneider-ag.de/ , no info on the 855, but use the contact form and they`ll get back to you pretty quickly (about 24 hours when I asked for help with a vcr).
