It`s a good machine. Not as well built and solid as my Sony machine, but I wanted a machine for upstairs. It`s nice to know that if I wanted to, but obviously I don`t as it`s illegal, I could record NTSC DVD`s onto my PAL video. If I had tried to do this, which obviously I haven`t as it`s illegal, I think the quality would be good. As far as video quality goes anyway.
