im getting a samsung m105 will it play rce protected dvds.

If you can hack it, yes it will.

Some M105s (and M205s for that matter) have been shipped with an unhackable firmware version, though. It can be changed, but it`s a hassle, so I recommend you read the M105/M205 related threads on the Hack Help forum before you buy this player.
