For SW download you must register, this is without costs.

Some users reported that software CODEFREE works also on LG RH2000 series recorders.
Originally, CODEFREE was designed for LG RH1000 series recorders.

You can find more articles concerning this nice little software inside DVD reviewer forums.

hi i have a lg rh266 everythink works it plays dvd but it wont record iv just changed the hard drive that comes in it all reads fine ,,,but it wont record at all can you help any advise would be grateful thank you

Now it is latest version 2.52e which contains information and OP Codes with bits which are responsible for
DVD Direct Recording
and
MLP Mode (HDD 250GB 729H, DVD-RW VR SP 11h42m)
and
Region Code (Free) RC0
on
LG RH2000 Series Recorders (RH255 ... 299).
