Pro llogic Problem

Roger the Dodger (Harmless) posted this on Thursday, 22nd November 2001, 12:28

I`ve a Pro logic TV and recently bought a shnieder 855 DVD player.
Should I get a surround sound out-put as the rear speakers are very quiet compared to when the TV or Video is on?
Any tips or advice would be welcomed

...er, yes you should.

How have you connected the DVD player to the TV? via SCART I assume. I also assume that you are getting stereo sound out of your DVDs but no information is coming out of the center speaker.

If you haven`t tried this already, get a pair of stereo interconnects and connect the stereo LR line-outs from your DVD player to the stereo line-ins on the back of your TV. Let me know how you get on.

Giles.

Thanks for the Tips.
It seems to be connected properly and miraculously when I switched it on today the Centre and Surround sound speakers seemed to be working!!!!
If it happens again i`ll question again
Thanks Giles
