Page 1 of multiregion hack for phillips dvd 612 desperate

does ne one know the hack for this player,looked and tried every where ,this is my only hope.

I`ve just been looking through the phillips hacks as I saw you could get one of these free with a widescreen TV. All the phillips hacks seem to be the same and involve a one-for all remote. The hacks list recommends Alan Verth`s site for more info. You just click on the words his website.

Just had a look it doesn`t name any models. You need to try and find out what your firmware is then look on the list on his website. Don`t know how you do this.

As far as I know all Philips players use the same hack. You must use a Onefor All remote such as the Onefor All 4 digital ( £25). These remotes MUST have the "magic" button.Just follow the instructions printed on this site for the Philips 750.
