New Venturer Home Cinema package - £199.99 from Toys`r`us

Hulk Smash! (Elite) posted this on Sunday, 16th December 2001, 04:21

Hi - I saw the above dvd player (with six speakers) the other day in Toys`r`us.

It is only £199.99, but does anyone know anything about it?

The main things I would like to know are - basically if it is any good, and if it can be hacked for multi-region (it`s not listed in this sites` Region Hacks).

Anyone??!!

CHEERS

George, I am interested in buying this package or indeed any of it`s clones, Goodmans 3500 etc. One question, can you pipe your tv and video through the Venturer to give you a complete surround sound setup?

Thanks in advance

Terry

If your TV has a 2 phono audio out, just run a phono pair from that into the amp, then the sound from whatever you`re watching (video, tv, digibox) will be piped out to the amp - just mute the tv.
