Page 1 of Advice please, Whats Pioneer 343 or 340 like??????? Or panasonic RV31 etc

Dansai we bought for the nipper has thrown one wobbly too may so taking it back and going branded.
Wondered what picture and sound are like on the lower range pioneer and are they ok CDR`s etc and macro ok and rce etc etc.
All information gratefully recieved or any other player suggestions.

saw a modded 343 on a toshiba telly the other day, the demo was gone in 60 seconds. impressed by the playback. build quality of unit seems ok - nice silvery finish. double hright unit maybe annoying (new slimline 444 ULTRA sexy) remote a little plastic, but not massive complaints. quite impressed overall.

if you can stretch to a 444 do that
