i have a yamaha rxv396 when watching dvds i get a flicker in the bottom right hand part of the tv screen this doesnt happen on any of the other inputs just dvd.can anyone help?

Do you run the video signals through the amp? (Does anyone actually do that?). If so, have you tried it direct?

i dont run any video signals through the amp.what is confusing is it only happens on dvd and nothing else

Hmmm...

Is the dvd player sited near that part of the set (like in a rack alongside it)? It`s possible that the motor may be causing magnetic interference.
