Remote Hack for Labway DVD 1000K is as follows.
No disc in machine then press: Setup, Step, F.Fwd, F.Bwd.
This will access the setup menu as on 900 model.
Then press: Pause, Stop, then key up or key down to change up or down 1 region at a time. then select region with arrow selection keys and confirm with play button. This will work ok but if you select the wrong region you have to repeat the pause, stop key press before pressing key up or down.
If you cant get this to work you can still play any region dvd`s by doing the following.
Put in disc. When region error screen comes up press PBC button. This will display all information about disc. Press title to change between disc tracks (1 is normally the main movie other numbers are extras). Press play when you are on desired track. Watch movie!!!!
Only problem with this PBC method is you cant access the root menu.
I`ve had no problems with playing any region 1 DVD`s. Even Hollow Man works fine both ways.

Hope this helps.

Dogsbody.

Could someone please outline the differences between the LB900 and 1000K apart from the cosmetic aspect. I just bought a 1000k and am wodering why it is £100 more.
