I have had a panasonic TV and I have just checked the manual for yours and the answer is yes you can mount the TV on a wall since the pedestal is removeable.

Panasonic TV`s sometimes come out of the box with the pedestal already attached, as mine did (37" LCD model). Yours is a plasma which is why I checked the manual online.

Yeah. sticky back plastic would hold it in place. Seen it on Blue Peter.
