can it be made macro free when chipped also has anyone got it i have found it at £500 from empire direct a good price me thinks but is it any good .

I don`t have one but I`m thinking about it, just a note to say that you can get it for £454.99 from Hotkit.co.uk.

You may find it cheaper to buy it from somewhere like http://www.techtronics.com or http://www.multiregionmagic.co.uk (who both do it macro free), rather than buying it single region and then having to get it chipped etc.

I bought one in December, £479 fully multi-region + RCE (software only so not macrovision disabled) from www.AV4U.co.uk

Very friendly staff and know their stuff... nice bit of kit it is too! Macrovosion is only really an issue if you want to copy dvd`s or route the DVD through your video...
