LOW AUDIO - RECORDING DVD TO VHS

bobcat (Harmless) posted this on Wednesday, 9th January 2002, 12:16

I`M USING A PANASONIC SC HT70 HOME CINEMA/DVD WHICH OBVIOUSLY HAS IT`S OWN 5:1 SPEAKERS. THEREFORE, I AM RUNNING THE AUDIO TO THE VIDEO RECORDER FROM THE `LINE OUT` PHONO JACKS ON THE DVD, ALONG WITH A SIGNAL FROM THE VIDEO OUT. ALL THESE THREE TERMINATE TO A SCART CONNECTOR WHICH FEEDS INTO THE VIDEO.THE PROBLEM I AM HAVING IS THAT THE AUDIO SIGNAL IS VERY LOW. THE PICTURE IS PERFECT AS THE MACRO HAS BEEN DISABLED.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ALTERNATIVE IDEA`S OR KNOW OF ANY WAY TO IMPROVE THE SOUND VOLUME?
THANX

Have you checked to see if there is any audio output volume settings on the DVD player? Check the manual.
