Okay, my video recorder is on its last legs and although its old technology I still like to be able to record stuff off the TV (e.g. the Indiana Jones film the other night - it seems its NEVER going to be released on DVD).
I do need to get a new one but don`t want to pay an arm and a leg. All I want is a reasonable picture and Nicam stereo. Anywhere to get them cheap?

Check out www.unbeatable.co.uk and www.empiredirect.com. Sometimes Allders/ House of Fraser or John Lewis have some very good prices.

yes go to House of Fraser and get the Sony 710 for £139.99. Quite a good deal.

buy yourself a thompson video,they pick up the ntsc signal aswell.
