Page 1 of Sony DV-P735 & Pearl Harbour

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just tried to play Pearl Harbour on my beloved Sony 735. Unfortunately I can hardly get any sound through my Denon 1602 amp!!! although the sound comes through the Tv fine.I can get sound through when the interactive menu is up & the THX things sounds superb as soon as the film starts & the bi-plane fly`s towards the screen hardly a thing comes through. I turned my amp up to max & can hardly hear anything. I`ve tried everything I can think of so I`m turning to the experts in my hour of need.I tried Charlies Angels (stop laughing) straight after & that comes through loud & clear.

Take the disk back it sounds knackered

Good advice but .........trouble is it plays fine on a friends Wharfedale 750 !!
