Hi there,

A friend of mine recently bought a SONY DAVS 500 and would like some advice.

As far as he can tell there is no volume control on the subwoofer and the bass is really overbearing at the minute. Is there a way to adjust the subs output via the remote etc?

Yep, I think the button on the remote is on the bottom right marked "amp setup" or something (check the manual) but you can drop the sub level by up to 6db from there.
