CAN YOU COPY GENUINE DISCS TO HDD?...

I have a Samsung SH855M dvd recorder. I am able to copy hard drive to disc and downloaded divx files to my hard drive, but having probs copying my v large dvd collection onto hard drive! Is it possible? Any help appreciated. Thank you...

No, it`s not possible. Standalone recorders are fixed to prevent you using them to clone discs for your mates. You need a PC to do that.
