Quite happy with the QUALITY from this player BUT has anyone else had the quibble that I have. Why does it take anything up to 2 MINUTES to load some BLUray discs?

That`s how long they take, depending on the complexity of the BD-J. Only the PS3 is significantly quicker.

Thanks for that info, happier knowing that it`s not a problem with my machine

Try installing a firmware update, I recently did mine, I checked the Panasonic website first but decided to download via the network cable.

Figured it would be easier than downloading, burn to disk, etc. Glad I did as the version I got was newer than the one available for download.

Not noticed any major difference since updating except twilight, which used to take ages to load, now seems to take toughly the same time as all other films.

All the best

Gerald.

Connected to the `net all the time so updates come automatically from Panasonic, latest is version 5
