I am really getting fed up with pokemon the movie playing in the lounge!!!!!!! how can I backup to vhs from the scan sc2000. when I dissable macrovision, sound and picture are good, but no colour???

I have got it set on auto (it save`s me having to press the 16:9 button on my tv), could this be the problem????
