Page 1 of NEED HELP PLEASE WITH A DECCAVIDEO DVD PLAYER

Dear all,
Just bought a deccavideo dvd player and i am having problems i have got it going through a scart lead to my Hitachi 880E then a scart lead to my Tv. I also have sky satelite connected to my tv with the arieal going through the satelite through the video to the tv. The problems i am having is that when the satelite is on it puts a ghost image behind the picture off the dvd player when playing and when i put the video on i then get red and blue strips going up and down on all channels BBC1 BBC2 etc and satelite+ i have it doing the same through all tv`s in the house i mean BBC1 BBC2 etc through a booster in the loft. I hope that someone can help with this as its driving me mad.
