Recommendation for full surround sound dvd system
Would anyone please have any prefences for a 5.1 dobly surround region 2 dvd system that could be hacked to play region 1. is any pasasonic system that could do this? for around £500
RE: Recommendation for full surround sound dvd system
You may need to look at one that is modified, rather than hacked - how about a multiregion Sony S500, £499 from www.multiregionmagic.co.uk?
Alternatively, you could buy a multiregion player and a Yamaha VS10 decoder/amp and speaker set (~£330 + DVD player). Plenty of recommendations for players here - for good quality, look at a Multiregion Pioneer 444 or Toshiba 210 (can`t be hacked - need to be modified so get it already done). Should be able to get something for around £170 to hit your budget.

Look no further than the Schneider HCS 5000. Everything you asked for and £200 change. Can be bought for £299 at Asda`s.
