speaker/amp Reccomendations

starshade (Competent) posted this on Saturday, 13th November 2010, 14:41

My brother has asked for some advice about upgrading his home cinema.

He has a tv and blu-ray but wants to upgrade the surround system to make use of the blu-ray surround sounds. Can anyone reccomend any speaker/amp sets, he is on a minimal budget.

Thanks for any input.

It`s always worth looking at Richer Sounds.
Currently they have a Sony AV amp with HDMI for only £100 (see http://www.richersounds.com/product/av-receivers/sony/strdh500/sony-strdh500)
And lots of speaker packages at http://www.richersounds.com/products/hi-fi-separates/speakers/speaker-packages
