Page 1 of Philips 622, macro master, and region 1 disks.

Can anyone tell me if the philips 622 (and a vcr...) can make copies of region 1 disks using the macro master thingy? I know not all dvd players are compatible with it, so advice would be great.

I don`t know the Phillips 622 but the info I can get says that it will output PAL60 from an NTSC disk. If it will only give you a PAL60 out you cannot record it on a standard VCR. Check through the setup menu`s to see if you can turn off quazi pal or whatever it might be called, if you can then a recording may be possable.

I`m still utterly confused! Does anyone know if the 622 is PAL50 in out-put, (is that right?) or am I thoroughly stuck? (Unless I feel like buying a suitable VCR...)
