Page 1 of Dansai 852 vibrations

Bought a Dansai 852 yeasterday and when I played my 2:nd DVD it started to vibrate, sounded like an electric screawdriver.
Went back to the store today and had it changed but the same thing happened with this player.
Anyone who have had the same problem?

Mine is a little noisy when I played one of the kids compilation dvd`s, it was only noisy on the first two programs, suggests its when its reading that part of the disc, strange thing is I haven`t noticed it on my other discs, still its not unbearable, I just turn the volume up.

Have to get back to the store again, the second DVD just died with a DVD inside.

My dansai died after 2 months --unfortunatley they had none left so i got a refund and bought a deccavision2110--which is more or less the same machine----hopefully it will last a bit longer----it was £10 more expensive.

My new Dansai buzzes on certain tracks. Should I take it back to Tesco or will it clear up?

iv never had any problems with vibrations or buzzing when playing disks.

the only problem iv had is the nightmare on elm street boxset DVD`s dont play properly, at certain points the DVD just returns to the main menu.. :¬(

Intrerestingly, the buzzing appears to have stopped over the weekend but a number of DVD`s get stuck in freeze frame and the only way to cure it is to turn the machine off and on at the main switch.!!!!!!

The buzzing has started again, should I get rid of this machine??

Is this still an issue with you guys? My 852 has developed vibration especially when loading a disc and in root menus.

no need to get rid of your machine my 852 vibrates on several discs.a simple way to stop or soften the noise is to place a coffee coaster under the left hand front corner of the machine! -flox :~)
