Page 1 of Is the Phillips 622 a crap machine?

Ive bought a phillips 622 and it seems to lock out ( Freeze) on me quite often plus, and I dont know if this is dirty DVDs but it skips quite a lot. Does anyone else have these same problems?

I had one until recently and never experienced any pbs.

Sold it for a JVC home cinema (see thread 22nd April) and now I am in trouble, ironic isn`t it?

It shouldn`t skip or freeze at all. DVD discs are more prone to finger print problems than CDs as the information is packed more densely.
If it still skips and freezes, take it back and exchange it. It`s not a bad little player - plays CDR/RW, MP3 abd easy to convert to multi-region.
