Anyway...

I have a Goodmans 289NS TV set (28" Nicam).

Does anyone know of the correct, working code for the Sky Digital remote to operate this TV set?

I have contacted Sky, and used the interactive system to find the code, but the code(s) they offer does not work correctly.

The best I can get is that the channel up and down buttons do not change the channels, and the volume up button changes the channel down!......All of the number keys do however change the channels.

Has anyone had any luck with the codes from Sky, or does anyone have the same set, and a different code that works?

Stick the code in that does the most/closest to the actual functions. There is a website that lists all of the separate button codes (256 in total)(each button can be done individually), it will take some time to find the appropriate codes, but eventually you`ll have a fully functioning remote.
