Is there any wireless rear speakers worth considering?
Just wondering as i want to save taking up the carpet etc to get the rears connected.
So is there any decent wireless rear speakers?

Hi,
In my experience, Wireless speakers are great for the connection experience however, it seems you lose some fidelity in the bass range unlike their hardwired cousins. My last set of philip speakers suffered from this problem also.

Assuming you live in a house, you should be able to do what I did and drill a small hole in the floor where you want each speaker to go.
The all you need is a willing mate to crawl under your house with each wire.
Only took about 1/2 an hour in my house, and definitely a helluva lot less hassle than lifting carpets.

Are you from the US?
In the UK most houses have concrete floors so this would be a problem.
I have my cables stuck to the ceiling!! Looks s*** but who cares! Sounds good and no carpets to rip up!

You can get special speaker cable that is designed for this problem - it`s very thin (1mm or so), and there is some that even has a self adhesive backing, so you can stick it to the wall. Try these:
http://www.beyondhifi.net > Hi-Fi Leads / Speaker & Subwoofer Cable / Acoustic Research-Pro (Microflat Speaker Cable).
or this: Ixos 607 from http://www.hifijukies.co.uk (and other places).
