Page 1 of Problems with Oritron 600 hack

I tried to hack a friends Oritron 600 DVD player with the region hack given and found that it played R1 films in black & white (R2 films played OK) and just wondered if anyone else had this problem. If so, how to rectify this. Have no other probs with other hacks, just this one.

I to have that problem ive searched every where for a solution but no joy. If you do find a way please let me, and if i do ill let you know

I think you will find that the player is giving an NTSC signal out from the region 1 disks. If your player cannot transpose to PAL try a fully wired scart lead into scart 1 on your TV and then set your DVD player and TV to RGB.

thanks for your help all i did was change the dvd settins to r/g/i or one and now it plays in colour thanks very much
