Nvidia TNT2 M64 16 MB TV. Can I use my TV as a monitor?

I have a spare Tv and am wondering if i can view my desktop on it? Also I would like to Watch DVDs from my DVD ROM on my TV.

If it has a TV Out then yes, as long as you use resolutions of 800x600 and below at 50hz.

As rob above (ie as long as you have video out from your graphics card)

But i think you will find that using your tv as a vdu for any normal pc use will not be as good, as tv`s are not made to be of the same resolution quality as pc monitors.

But i do watch dvds via a tv (voodoo card) out to a widescreen and its better than using a 17`` monitor.

Seeing as I know more than a bit about PC... Using a TV as a monitor is PANTS...

Seriously don`t do it...

Bandwidth and refresh rate are the keys here.

Get a plasma and maybe we can talk..

Don`t do it stick to a 21" monitor.

yep got to agree with that last post forget it m8,
I got a 32" hitachi and it comes with a connection on the back and it`s own software and it ain`t that good the res is the real prob m8 and the tv really don`t like it that much AND the Fu(king wife deff did not like me when i told her that it could do this :-) bless her :-(.
