i have just purchased this machine at a bargain.
i want to use for playing back cd-r and cd-rw..
the player plays back cd-r perfectly, but when i try to play back cd-rw,the player shows the message of no disc..
it clearly states that the player can handle cd-rw.
the discs i have been using are maxell
can anyone help..it will be much appreciated.

This player can definitely play back CD-RWs. I`m wondering if it`s an authoring problem - what program are you using to write the discs?

If you have written CD-Rs that work, try doing a direct disc image copy from one of those to a blank CD-RW.
