But if you `pay by phone` the minimum deposit is £1.20. The maximum you can have in your account at any time is £10.

KKK it didn`t offer me a £1.20 option when I went to add credits, plus the 1 minute free phone calls were a bit tight, I tend to go on abit (unless add £10.) Having a call number is a good idea for outside lines though

I can tell you when it went on just like the car.It starts after midnight & in the case of the car it must have gone on all night. The reason that it will be done like that, ,is because it happens at the last minute & then it is to late to get extra points etc.I had to stay up putting more points on to my account til 4am this morning because it was going up so fast.As it happens it was in vain, other than I am hoping to be having the occasional steak round at the mother in sins.I have always stated though that I dont mind getting beaten by a better strategy or someone with more points or a faster finger. As long as they dont cheat in doing so I say good luck to whoever wins.Played fairly it isnt easy & if at first you dont succeed try & try again.

RD, how are you able to get the points consistently going up every 2-3 seconds through the night?
Do you for example, use two pc`s located next to each other and just refresh and bid between the twp pc`s?

Or do you have both accounts logged on at the same time on one pc but in two different browser windows?

Or are there two people on two pc`s in the same room?

I would think it difficult to have this consistent bid increase unless there was some communication between the two bidding accounts/bidding people.

Any tips?

Anni, Did you see the option to `pay by phone` ? This option costs £1.50 for the phone call and credits £1.20 to your account, giving you access to all the services for free. It`s the cheapest way i`ve found to get signed up and the way i recommended to all my customers. Seems to work !

If bidding up is a perfectly acceptable practice, why do Nestle ban bidding against yourself? Just wondered, perhaps there`s another reason I haven`t figured out yet Or why don`t they just have a box that you put your enormous final bid in and save all that effort?

Because hope is pretty powerful Anni. If Nestle can get the best of both worlds they will.

Nestle want to sell tonnes of Kitkats, therefore they want high bids, if the high bids take a long time then there is always the possibility the opponents will stop or that you could just buy another couple of hundred thousand or.....
