hi mate :) how are you going on with this game ? i ask mainly because i`m hoping to get a ps3 slim in a couple of weeks, & asda are doing them for £217 if you buy a chart game at the same time, if your playing it quite a bit, then i`ll get it as the required game :)

Chris - where is that deal in Asda?
My wife`s cousin`s PS3 just died on them and they`re looking at a replacement model, but they couldn`t find the deal in our local Asda.

it was just on a box in the ps3 games section,  noticed it a couple of weeks ago, & it was deffo still on when i went in on saturday....

but as i`m the lucky type,  now that i`m looking to buy one, i`m sure the offer has imediately stopped lol....  hope not though..

Been playing as the Marine and it is really good.  Very atmospheric and claustrophobic...

Not played online yet to be honest as 1. not had time and 2. when I did try it was taking a while to connect.

If you like the Alien and or Predator films I would recommend you buy it.

Might try and get on it tonight but mrs jazpa watching tv at mo....

Had a go online tonight playing Predator Hunt.  Took AGES to connect, I was almost giving up then I got in.  Not bad but not a good idea to play if you have just been on MW2 as pressing R1 gets you nowhere when up against an 8ft predator...

Jimbo, you can fix YLOD? I`ll bear it in mind... I have the old 40gb model, and am sure my days are numbered...

Yeah I found that when I was playing the other night :D

I`ve only had a quick 30minute blast on the Marine solo mission and it seemed alright gameplay wise, so not regretting the decision on the purchase yet.

yup but it seems results vary console to console.
The 40 Gigger I got from Mr Ogs over there worked fine for me, gave it to a mate and it YLOD`d again, got it back, did it again, he got it, YLOD`d.
I got it back n kept it this time, fixed it and it seems absolutely fine except high speed fan mode same as Ogs new one.

Although that reminds me... I want to try my fan speed controller from the PC on it.....
