Hmm, wasn`t much in that trailer that excited me in fairness.

Looked like more of the same, than anything mindblowing.

I`m sure I`ll be caught up in the excitement when everyone is buying it though.

Top of my purchase list is Fifa at the end of the month first

I`m with 1mills.
Very samey except with tarted up graphics and some overkill (when they bring up that box to trigger what was some form of grenade?).
Graphics looked superb though but looking at some of that gameplay I still wonder how they can load, scope, target and shoot (for example) the sniper rifle so quickly for a kill when I bring up mine and sit for five minutes trying to work out where the player went I was targeting!
And how they can instantly see and target using any weapon?!?!?

One thing this has got me thinking... when I had MK 64 for my N64, I bought the US one with an adapter very early on, it was manic and brilliant. Later I got the PAL one when the N64 price drop happened and it was "ok" but never anywhere near the same speed.... could it be that some other consoles are running 60Hz and thats why mine always seems to lag behind?
(Except when I play you lot, then I know it`s cos I`m scheitte! Lol)

First up on my list and it`s this week (unfortunately while I`m driving south....) Resistance 3!

hey, it`s CoD... did you expect anything else? as long as it`s slick and
polished, it`ll be ok (pretty much everything BO isn`t)

sleight of hand pro and much practice... i can scope fairly quickly nowadays without
the need to hold down the "breathe" button. it`s only really effective at fairly
close range though.

Hotukdeals has £34.32 pre-order on Tesco Entertainment (also for Fifa 12).

Doesn`t seem a massively great deal, but it`s also pretty early to know what deals will be about.

I have gone for Fifa 12 as it has packs for Ultimate game also (never played before but everyone raves, so will give a go this year), but with topcashback at 8% it works out at about £32 plus gets clubcard points etc and saves me running around on release day knowing that "hopefully" it should be at home, well hopefull earlier.

Not a clue mate.
(mills, this isn`t the game - this is a £35/year charge for other things - inc. I think map packs.  But note, that`s PER YEAR...
You can bet though that stuff you used to get for `free` will become part of the Elite package..

Maybe this helps?

Ah sorry didn`t make myself clear, realised it wasn`t the same version, just meant it as a heads up on the price in the thread for anyone who might be interested.

As I`m not that fussed, I`ll be holding out until closer the time I reckon.

Mills - thanks, I`ve put in a pre-order at Tesco for MW3.
Can`t be arsed with waiting till the day of release to find out where the best deal is. £34 is good enough for me :)

Bitten the bullet and preordered the hardened edition from game. Comes with a year`s elite membership and a few other little bits. I guess it`s sort of worth it just for the map packs, which I`d no doubt end up buying anyway.
