Page 1 of REM Live (Nottingham - 6 July)

Went to see REM at the City Ground last night (well someone has to put the stadium to good use now Forest are doing so poorly) and had to say they were fantastic.

Michael Stipe has so much energy on stage - manic dancing and everything.

He was still wearing his strange blue "eyeshadow", which made me laugh.

The audience was soaked, it was chucking it down with rain, and at one point the band had to put towels down on the stage because the stage was getting so slippy.

They did a great selection of songs classics and newer stuff.

if anyone gets the chance to see them live, I`d thoroughly recommend it.

And ihaven`t been able to get Losing my religion out of my head since i left the stadium. :D 8)

I`m going to Hyde Park on Saturday!!

I went to see them in Cardiff last night and I was 100% blown away!

After touring so much this year and in the last 20 years, you would forgive them if them came on played the music and went home, but the amount of energy and pure passion in the show is awesome.

One of the biggest cheers was when they came back on for the encore and Michael Stipe had a Welsh rugby top on, the place went mad :D

Just got back from Hyde Park - superb concert. It also turned out to be the last night of the tour, which made it extra special. The last night would have been Cardiff had the London gig not been postponed...
