DVD Burning Software - Advice Please !!!
Hi, I have just bought an DVD+RW writer and also bought the DVD X Copy software as this will backup any DVD disc. However, as consumer discs are only 4.7Gb and retail DVD`s are 9Gb plus, the film has to put on two DVD`s which is fair enough.
My question is do you know of any software which will still copy the entire film, including menus etc onto a standard 4.7Gb disc. I appreciate I will have to suffer some picture quality loss due to compression but would still be better than having to change the disc halfway through watching it.
Any help would be appreciated.

RE: DVD Burning Software - Advice Please !!!
hey
to burn dvd`s u can use dvd decrypter or smartripper to rip the dvd and then u can choose how much of the film u want to put on to the dvdr.
ur file might then be anything from 6 to 9 gig, to big for a dvdr ,what u need then is a program called dvd shrink ,this will shrink the file to whatever size u want with minimal loss of quality but if ur original file is to big it might not be able to compress enough ,then all u do is burn to ur dvdr ,i use nero 5.5.10.7 and there is no prob with this software playing on some machines as some sites have suggested as i have played them on the playstation 2 and cyberhome adl-528
software can be found on www.vcdhelp.com
