DMA for W2K

Jon.M (Harmless) posted this on Friday, 6th June 2003, 23:25

Does anyone know how to enable DMA on DVD drives underW2k.

When playing DVD`s after about 1 minute`s worth of decent playback I get get a jerky picture and little or no sound. The constant flickering light on the DVD drive slows to an occasional flash. Am guessing its due to DMA not being enabled on the drive. Any ideas?

Right click on the drive under my computer > properties and the setting is under one of the tabs, not sure which.
