Page 1 of Can`t play some downloaded films

I have downloaded several versions of Terminator 3 but can`t get it to play. Any idea what software I need to play it. It says tmd (smf).avi on the download if that is any help.

Jon - you probably haven`t got the necessary codecs installed

Although the file extension is *.avi - it`s not a Windows "standard" avi file. IE it`s been compressed using some kind of new codec.

My advice is to get yourself over to www.digital-digest.com and download the latest pack of codecs from their DivX->Software pages.

Also - If I remember rightly the SMF version of T3 isn`t that great (what`s the filesize by the way?)
Try out the TCF SVCD version - I`ve just seen it and it`s pretty damn good
