Page 1 of Help - Cheap DVD-WRITER Laptop

Hi. Does anyone know where to get a cheap (less than £1000). Laptop with a dvd-rw drive. Plus as high spec as possible, I would like a good graphics card at least.

Look carefully, I have seen a couple with good spec & a DVD Rewriter as well. It seems most of the newer ones have DVD rewriters in, & this for less than a £1000-00. I saw them in the papers over the last 6 weeks or so but can`t remember where. I think one was with Time/Computer shop or whatever they call themselves, not a good name but it`s a start.

I am very biased but do not buy Time at any cost cheap and nasty with bad support that costs you .

I`ve never bought from Time/Tiny but have heard more than enough to put me off, but it just might be possible to use the fact that they have a laptop for £999.00 to influence other retailers to perhaps come up with a similar one for a similar price. I know I have seen another make but can`t place where or what it was. I think it is close to Aldi doing another laptop special & that just may have everything needed, & they do look after you unlike Lidl.
