Page 1 of USing your tv as a monitor

My dad has my old pc and wants to use a tv as a monitor can this be done because i have seen a product called avermedia keylite and was wandering if that would do the job

any graphics card with tv-out should do it, provided the tv has scart/composite inputs but be warned playing games pc-to-tv is one thing reading text etc is another, i would`nt recomend using a tv for general use as the resolution is very low and your eyes will suffer.
