Comparison website for ISPs

andrew281 (Competent) posted this on Monday, 12th January 2004, 04:47

I am about to move house and am thinking about changing telephone supplier and Internet Service Provider (ISP).

I am finding this comparison website quite useful:
http://www.net4nowt.com/

I just need reliable weekend and evenings Internet access (no real need for 24/7 access, which is more expensive). If you guys have any recommendations, then feel free to add them below.

This has had brief discussion recently here : DVD Reviewer Computers Section

I have had Pipex a week now with no problems. I used to have BT Openworld on ISDN which I also had no problems with but the ADSL offering was too expensive...plus BT p*****d me of big time by charging me £50 just to disconnect my ISDN (a charge they introduced after I had the service installed) line.
